Vidsonix

Get great sound in your bathroom or kitchen without the need for visible speakers.

The vidsonix ghost is a "Full range audio tactile transducer (speaker)" that you can attach to nearly any surface and use it to "propagate sound through the air". The transducer works in a similar manner to that of a classical instrument, resonating a sound board to produce sound.

The sound quality and frequency depend very heavily on the surface being used. Vidsonix recommend a dense wood, such as Douglas Fir, but we have found the speaker provides great sound with 1/4 inch ply wood, inside cupboard doors, the back of plasterboard (for hidden ceiling speakers), or even the back of picture frames to create 'art sound'.
